The Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan has announced ambitious plans for the development of the mining sector, highlighting the country's significant potential. Kyrgyzstan boasts around 1,000 geological sites, including deposits of gold, silver, mercury, and rare earth metals.

At the 10th MINEX Central Asia 2024 Mining and Geological Forum, Russian companies affirmed their commitment to collaborating with partners in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Representatives from the Russian company Almazgeobur expressed optimism about future cooperation during negotiations.

The forum underscored the Kyrgyz government's support for foreign investment in the mining sector. Experts noted the strong presence of Chinese companies in the country's economy. Kyrgyz representatives emphasized their interest in the qualitative assessment and sustainable development of natural resources, employing modern technologies and adhering to high environmental standards.

Kyrgyzstan's substantial potential in mining and metal processing is well-documented, with the country's assets, experience, and reputation as a reliable gold supplier ensuring fruitful collaboration with investors.
