According to the decision taken by the Cabinet, a six-month ban has been imposed on the exports of metal scrap, metal waste and ferrous metal ingots for processing from Kyrgyzstan to outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The Cabinet has also decided to impose quantitative restrictions for six months on the exports of precious metals and raw materials containing precious metals in the amount of no more than 500 kg.
The Ministry of Economy and Trade has been ordered to notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union within three days of when the orders go into force.
