Kumba Iron Ore Limited reported that it has reduced its iron ore sales target

Kumba Iron Ore Limited has reduced its sales target on iron ore by 1.2%, or about 500,000 tons, following the phaseout of ArcelorMittal South Africa's steel plant in the Western Cape region. However, the company's production target remains at 42-43 million tons, and iron ore sales currently account for 94% of its revenue. Kumba plans to assess the impact of AMSA's shutdown program on South African domestic iron ore sales.
