The company ended the year with a net profit of TRY 83.1 million, while its inflation-adjusted net profit was calculated as TRY 599 million.
The company's revenue decreased by 13% compared to 2023, from TRY 22.22 billion to TRY 19.24 billion. Operating profit decreased by 55% to TRY 1.18 billion and gross profit by 28% to TRY 3.06 billion. Adjusted EBITDA declined by 36% to TRY 2.04 billion.
Sales Volume and Product Groups
Kocaer Çelik's total sales volume increased by 3.4% to 580,443 tons. While the share of value-added products in total sales increased from 39% to 42%, sales volume in this area increased by 9.2% to 241,666 tons.
Changes on the basis of product groups are as follows:
Universal Beam sales increased by 35.8% to 77,376 tons.
Channel sales decreased by 10.2% to 78,665 tons.
Merchant Bar sales decreased by 6.5% to 182,736 tons.
Financial Ratios and Indebtedness Ratio
The company's gross profit margin declined to 15.9% from 19.2%, adjusted EBITDA margin to 10.6% from 14.4% and net profit margin to 0.4% from 7.7%. On the other hand, net financial debt/EBITDA ratio increased from 0.76 to 0.79.
While inflation-adjusted net sales increased by 38% to TRY 17.04 billion, fluctuations in the operational performance of the company were reflected in the financial results.
