Koç Metalurji announces third quarter balance sheet

Koç Metalurji announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2024 on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

The company posted a net profit of 132 million TRY (TRY132,579,742) for the period 01.01.2024 - 30.09.2024. However, this figure represents a 64% decrease compared to the profit of 372 million TRY (TRY372,493,195) recorded in the first 9 months of 2023. 

Koç Metalurji reported a net loss of 10 million TRY (TRY10,476,960) in the third quarter.

In addition, the company's revenue decreased by 15% compared to the same period of the previous year, while operating profit fell by 56%.

The company's shareholders' equity decreased by 0.2% on a quarterly basis.

In the first nine months of last year, Koç Metalurji generated a return of 12 trillion TRY (TRY 12,208,854,781) from sales, while it earned 10 trillion TRY (TRY 10,420,116,914) in the same period this year. In the same period of 2023, the company recorded an operating profit of 636 million TRY (636,791,899 TRY), while this year it reported 282 million TRY  (TRY 282,517,621).
