Kazakhstan has decided to extend the ban on the export of semi-finished products and billets for 6 months, the Kazakhstan Ministry of Trade and Integration announced on April 26, 2025. The government said that this decision contributed to increasing deeper processing capacity within the industry and rebar exports increased by 30 thousand tons.
The Commission also decided to extend existing anti-dumping measures on hot-deformed seamless pipes imported from China and galvanized rolled products originating from China and Ukraine.
Officials say such measures will serve both to maintain the balance of the domestic market and to sustainably increase export revenues.
