Kardemir, as one of Türkiye's leading steel producers, has made another mark in its history in golden letters.

Zeynep Blast Furnace No. 2 announced on its social media accounts that it has reached a huge production success. Zeynep has reached a total of 9,294,106 tons of crude iron production by working uninterruptedly for 65 years. This highly impressive production journey has turned into a great success story of Kardemir. Although the furnace successfully completed its production mission in 2015, it has made significant contributions to the steel industry by continuously producing for 65 years.

Blast Furnace No. 2, which is named after Zeynep, is known for its contribution to Türkiye's industrial and production potential. Until 2015, it was of great importance with the raw materials it provided to the steel industry.

As stated in Kardemir's social media post, Blast Furnace No. 2 Zeynep's 65-year production history is one of the rare stories that witness the evolution of the Turkish steel industry. This important facility's name has left an unforgettable mark in the industry with its achievements in steel production and many years of efforts.
