Iron ore price records worst day in 9 months due to slowing steel production in China.

Iron ore price hits 9 months low in China

Iron ore, which is the most traded on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange, is experiencing its most troubled days since October. Iron ore fell about 3% to 795 yuan ($109).

Iron ore also fell by about 3% on the Singapore Exchange.

As a result of the consecutive declines in iron ore, investors are waiting for new developments regarding the economy-supporting policies in China.
