The World Steel Association (Worldsteel) shared crude steel production data for March 2025. According to the data, Iran's crude steel production in March increased by 3.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 3.3 million tons.
In the January-March 2025 period, Iran's total production decreased by 12.8% compared to the same period last year to 7.3 million tons.
Iran was again ranked 10th in the ranking of the world's largest steel producers in March, despite a 3.7% increase.
Global crude steel production increased by 2.9% compared to the same period of March 2024 to 166.1 million tons.
