According to a company press release, this significant order was fulfilled in co-operation with a German partner and with the assistance of a logistics company from the Netherlands, ensuring smooth delivery and customs clearance in Australia.
Ivan Mazanka, Pipe Sales Director for European markets at Interpipe, highlighted the strategic importance of this order. "The Australian client, who has traditionally sourced pipes from the EU, decided to explore producers from other regions. Interpipe, renowned globally, was invited for this cooperation. The customer is particularly impressed by our commitment to sustainable development and our integrated supply chain."
Mazanka noted the challenges involved in this order, emphasizing that the production process and logistics were atypical, necessitating the involvement of European partners. He underscored the critical importance of product quality, as it directly impacts operational safety. "The successful execution of this order may open doors to additional consumers in Australia for us," he added.
Interpipe, based in Ukraine, is a global producer of steel pipes and railway products, with its products marketed in over 50 countries through a network of sales offices in key markets such as Ukraine, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. In 2023, Interpipe supplied 387 kt of pipes and 95 kt of railway products.
