At the monthly level, industrial production decreased in the Eurozone. In September, it fell by 1.1% on a monthly basis, with the highest declines in Belgium (3.2%), Portugal (3%), Estonia and Ireland (2.9%).

According to the announced data, it decreased by 1.1% compared to August and by 6.9% compared to September 2022. According to the data, EU industrial production decreased by 0.9% in September when compared to the previous month, while it decreased by 6.1% compared to the same period last year.
On an annual basis, Ireland with 27.2%, Belgium with 14% and Estonia with 12.5% followed the highest decrease in industrial production.
