India's coal imports increased

India imported 2.30 million tons of coking coal from Australia, with a decrease of 35.11% month on month and 18.8% month on month. Coal input from the USA amounted to 858,600 tons; This represents a 11.83% monthly decrease against a 56.7% annual increase.

In the first nine months of the year, India's total non-coking coal imports reached 126 million tons, while coking coal imports amounted to 43.47 million tons. Additionally, PCI coal imports amounted to 13.22 million tons.
