Half of India's Iron Ore production takes place at the NMDC, SAIL, Tata Steel, OMC, JS Dabilo, Rongtasans, MS/NS India, JSPL, Vedanta and ESL Steel plants. India's largest Iron ore production units are located in four provinces: Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, and Jharkhand.
Iron Ore production increased by 1% this year and reached 255 million tons. Among the companies, JSPL, MS/NS India and OMC companies recorded the annual increase.
