The trade volume between India and Iran doubled, reaching approximately $358 million. India imported $70 million worth of goods from Iran in January and February 2022. Iran's exports to India doubled in the first two months of this year, according to the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Trade between Iran and India had decreased by 13% in January and February of 2022, totaling $412 million. This decreased amount was caused by the decrease in India's exports to Iran. This year, India's export rate to Iran decreased by 34% in January and February, coinciding with the same periods of the previous year, from 342 million dollars to 224 million dollars.
