The event, which will be held free of charge on the Zoom platform on April 15-16 under the umbrella of the “earthquake” concept, will include a series of sessions and panels attended by expert geoscientists, planners, engineers, architects, managers and psychologists, earthquake studies by companies, disaster management, the use of earthquake-related products and earthquake simulations, as well as online workshops.
At CivilIstanbul'23, YTU Faculty of Civil Engineering Dean Prof. Dr. Şükrü Ersoy, Deputy Dean of YTU Faculty of Civil Engineering Prof. Dr. Nabi Yüzer and YTU Civil Engineering Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ali Koçak will meet with the participants in the "Earthquake" panel.
Also at the event, Japanese Master of Architecture and Civil Engineer, Earthquake Expert Yoshinori Moriwaki, “Earthquake Fact: Differences Between Turkey and Japan”, Civil Engineer Prof. Dr. Ario Ceccotti "Wood Structure Construction in Earthquake Zones" and ITU Faculty of Civil Engineering and ITU Disaster Management Institute Dr. Instructor Fatih Sütcü will make their presentation titled “Innovative Earthquake Engineering Solutions”.
