Syrian Foreign Minister Assad al-Shaybani, Defence Minister Major General Murhef Abu Kasra and Intelligence Chief Enes Hattab will visit Ankara tomorrow and hold official talks.
Critical Talks on the Agenda
During the visit, officials from both countries are expected to hold extensive talks on security, border management and regional co-operation. These talks are considered as a critical step towards the normalisation of relations between the new Syrian government and Turkey and regional stability.
The contacts to be held in Ankara are expected to be an important milestone in strengthening cooperation and restructuring diplomatic ties between the two countries.
