Total shipments to external customers also decreased by 5% to 19.033 million tons. The average sales price per ton experienced a 10% annual decrease.
The company expects higher earnings in the fourth quarter of 2020 compared to the third quarter, mainly due to higher pricing at its sheet and plate factories. The earnings from the raw materials segment will also be higher in the fourth quarter due to increased margins at the DRI facilities.
