Go Gauge Projects, a member of the XLProjects Network (XLP), successfully managed the transportation of 29 steel girders from a factory in China to Jebel Ali Port in the UAE. Each profil weighed 25 tons and measured 13 meters in length, making the shipment a demanding task requiring meticulous planning and logistics coordination.
One of the biggest challenges of the project was adhering to a strict 48-hour EXW delivery window. Despite the tight timeline, Go Gauge Projects demonstrated exceptional precision and efficiency, ensuring that every stage of the process was executed flawlessly.
To achieve this, Go Gauge Projects took several key steps. First, the company arranged 29 trailers for the local transport of the beams from the factory to the port. Customs clearance was completed successfully on a sunday, ensuring no delays occurred despite the weekend timing. Finally, the cargo was loaded onto a breakbulk vessel bound for Jebel Ali Port in a highly coordinated manner. The company’s meticulous management of the entire process further solidified its leadership in the industry.
