Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) announced the country's leading GDP figures for 2021. Accordingly, Germany's GDP increased by 2.7 percent last year. Due to the crisis, it shrank by 4.9 percent in 2020 and the growth trend that had been going on for 10 years was over.
