Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau has reportedly launched a new chapter that will be central to new business development. The company would develop steel-related products and businesses. Gerdau Next had appointed Mr. Juliano Prado as the company's president and would report directly to CEO Gustavo Werneck.
The company would expand and accelerate the new businesses it had created in recent years. In addition, Gerdau Next aimed to provide 20% of the revenues of steel-related enterprises.
Gerdau is exported to Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, USA, Venezuela, etc. With steel mills, it is the largest long steel producer in Latin America.
