Megasa and Gallardo have each reportedly made an offer in the range of €300-350 million for the division manufacturer.
Two weeks ago, CSN President Benjamin Steinbruch said the sale of SWT was very close to being announced.
The decision to sell the German unit was taken to help reduce CSN's debt of around 25 billion reais ($6.5 billion). To reduce debt, the company is also exploring divesting its stake in steelmaker Usiminas and entering into flow-of-mine contracts to raise cash.
"Steinbruch's target price for SWT is around €400-450 million, so we need to see if it will accept either of those two," a source said.
