Indian ferrosilicon prices remained stable week on week at Rs 105,000/t Guwahati. The price stability can be attributed to rising production costs, primarily caused by power outages in the northeast region, especially due to damage to the 132 kVA key line. This situation has forced large factories in the northeast to cut production, which has prevented manufacturers from reducing their supply.
Bhutan has increased its offer by Rs 4,000/t compared to the previous month. The shortage of raw materials resulted from the shutdown of production at some important plants, which led to higher prices. Rising costs also contributed to rising prices.
