Exports of the machinery manufacturing industry increased by 9.9 percent compared to the previous year and amounted to 23.4 billion dollars in the first ten months of this year.
While the said industry declined by 6.6 percent in terms of quantity, it achieved a positive momentum of 9.9 percent in its revenues thanks to the 18 percent increase in the average export per kilogram.
Karavelioğlu said that despite the global interest rate hikes and recession, they managed to increase exports by 10 percent in 10 months and drew attention to the progress in the sector.
