As the 13th day of the Ukrainian occupation continues, sanctions decisions continue to come from countries and companies, especially the Western world.
Finally, US President Biden announced that they banned all energy, oil and gas imports from Russia.
LIST PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS FROM PUTIN
In response to the embargoes, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the implementation of special economic measures in the field of foreign economic activities in order to ensure the security of Russia. The decree also instructed the Russian government to draw up a list of countries that would be affected by the bans. It was stated that the said measures do not apply to the products or raw materials that citizens carry for their personal needs.
EXPORT PROHIBITION FOR SOME PRODUCTS AND RAW MATERIALS
Putin also demanded that a ban be placed on the export of products and raw materials outside of Russia, the list of which will be determined by the government, by December 31.
In the text of the decree, "In order to ensure the security of the Russian Federation and the smooth functioning of its industry, I decide to ensure the implementation of the following special economic measures until December 31, 2022:
Prohibition of export outside the territory of the Russian Federation and (or) import of products and (or) raw materials into the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the lists established by the government of the Russian Federation; Restriction of the import of products and (or) raw materials outside the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the lists determined by the government of the Russian Federation.
