Good news for European manufacturers, who have been suffering from ever-increasing energy costs from March 2022.
The price of North Sea Brent oil has returned to around $73 a barrel, almost back to January 2022 levels. As a result of the Russia-Ukraine war, price increases exceeding 60% were stabilized.
Energy prices in various EU countries show a similar picture. Compared to the previous year, energy prices decreased by approximately 47% in Spain, 53% in Germany, 55% in Italy and even approximately 60% in France and Finland.
With the easing of energy cost pressures making markets more positive; It is predicted that the EU will increase the demand in the manufacturing sectors.
