Ekinciler Port, one of Türkiye's most strategic centers in the field of industry and logistics, will contribute to the regional economy and Türkiye's logistics infrastructure by deciding to expand with the 60 years of experience of Ekinciler Holding AŞ.
The port, which has a daily cargo handling capacity of 20 thousand tons and plays a critical role in the Eastern Mediterranean trade, will become a center that can host high-tonnage ships with increased depth with new investments. The port, which is also suitable for intermodal transportation thanks to its national railway connection, will provide cost and time advantages in import and export processes and will put Türkiye ahead in global logistics competition.
Increasing Capacity and Depth
The pier, which is currently 430 meters long and 23 meters wide, will be extended by 370 meters to reach a total length of 800 meters and a width of 40 meters. In addition, its depth will be increased to 23-24 meters, making it capable of serving ships with tonnage up to 200,000 DWT.
With this investment, import and export processes will be accelerated, logistics costs will be reduced and operational efficiency will be maximized by bringing cargo directly to the port.
Strategic Location and Sustainable Transportation
Ekinciler Port has a strategic advantage as it is 70 km from Hatay Airport, 120 km from Adana Airport and only 500 meters from the highway. With new investments, it will have the infrastructure to serve both large tonnage ships and different types of cargo.
