According to a report by the Construction Building Materials Export Council, Egypt's total exports of building materials, refractories, metal industry and construction sectors from January to May this year increased by 2% to 3.234 billion dollors, compared to 2022. According to the report,
• Pipe exports increased by 65% in the first five months of this year, from 4 million dollors to 7 million dollors.
• Iron and steel exports increased by 46% from 647 million dollors to 943 million dollors.
• Copper exports rose 34% from 188 million dollors to 252 million dollors.
• Cement exports increased by 33% from 286 million dollors to 386 million dollors.
