Economic confidence decreased in the first month after the completion of the elections.
According to the data of Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), while economic confidence index was 103.7 in May, it decreased by 2.5 percent to 101.1 in June.
In June compared to the previous month, Consumer Confidence Index decreased by 6.5 percent and became 85.1, real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index increased by 0.6 percent and became 105.7, service sector confidence index increased by 0.6 percent and became 118.1, retail trade confidence index increased by 0.9 percent and became 117.7, construction confidence index decreased by 3.5 percent and became 88.9.
