East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry announced that the construction and installation works for its new helical submerged arc welded (HSAW) steel pipe production line at its facility in the Second Industrial City in Dammam have been completed. The company confirmed that operations have officially commenced in accordance with the planned schedule.
The company stated that this new production line will enhance its manufacturing capabilities, enable it to serve a broader customer base, and contribute to meeting project requirements with greater flexibility and efficiency.
On the other hand, this investment is expected to increase annual production capacity by approximately 100,000 metric tons, raising the nominal capacity from 400,000 metric tons to around 500,000 metric tons; depending on project specifications, this capacity may reach up to 600,000 metric tons.
The company also noted that the financial impact of the project is expected to begin reflecting in its financial statements starting from the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026. The company had previously signed several agreements in February 2025 to establish the spiral welded steel pipe production line at its Dammam facility, with a total project cost of approximately SAR 48 million.
