DISCO, commissioned limestone production unit

This is a critical phase of the iron and steel plant project at Manhize. The commissioning of the limestone production unit is seen as a significant advance in securing the key resources required to meet the plant's energy requirements. Disco's investment has the potential to make a significant contribution to economic and industrial development in the Midlands. It is also expected to boost employment in the region and revitalise the local economy.

With the completion of the plant, it is anticipated that there will be a significant increase in iron and steel production capacity in the region and a major contribution to the industrial infrastructure of the country. This will have a positive impact on the economic growth of the Midlands and the development of the local labour force. Disco's investment will bring new dynamism to the regional economy, increase employment opportunities and support the development of the industrial sector.
