The project aims to increase productivity in the plants and maximize waste recycling.
Danieli's Vice President stated, "Our objectives include a 15% reduction in electricity consumption and a 25% reduction in emissions. Furthermore, we aim for 100% recycling of waste and water used in furnace heating, embodying the principles of a circular economy."
The EUR 572 million investment will facilitate environmentally responsible initiatives and comprehensive waste recycling. Key project goals encompass the installation of an automated digital furnace powered by renewable energy, the achievement of 100% waste and water recycling, and a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.
