According to the consumer confidence index data for September announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), consumer confidence increased by 2.4 percent on a monthly basis in September.
The consumer confidence index, calculated from the results of the consumer tendency survey conducted in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, increased by 2.4 percent in September from 76.4 in August to 78.2.
In the current period, the household financial situation index increased by 2.8 percent in September from 63.1 last month to 64.8.
The index of household financial situation expectations in the next 12 months was 76.6 in August and increased by 1 percent this month to 77.4.
The index of general economic situation expectations in the next 12 months, which was 71.5 in August, increased by 4.2 percent and rose to 74.5 this month.
