The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released the consumer confidence index for August.
According to the data, the consumer confidence index increase 0.6 percent in August to 76.4, increase from 75.9 in July.
The survey shows that the household's current financial situation rose to an index level of 63.1 in August. There was also a 0.9-point increase in expectations for the financial situation in the next 12 months.
The index measuring the intention to purchase durable goods in the next 12 months decreased by 2.3 points to 94.3 in August.
