Turkey Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the construction cost index data for May. Accordingly, in May 2022, the construction cost index increased by 3.97 percent compared to the previous month and by 105.73 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 4.97 percent and the labor index increased by 0.18 percent. In addition, the material index increased by 130.73 percent and the workmanship index increased by 44.06 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Building construction cost index increased by 102.32 percent annually and 3.84 percent monthly.

Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 4.88 percent and the labor index increased by 0.06 percent.
