Chinese retail steel inventories at 11.5-month low

Total inventories of five major finished steel products in commercial warehouses in China on December 17-23, hit a new low since January 8, with volumes falling 495,500 tons, or 3.5 percent week on week, to 13.6 million tons. Dealer stocks have fallen for eleven weeks in a row.
