China's stainless steel imports and exports decreased

According to customs data dated January 22, China's stainless steel imports were 288 thousand 600 tons and exports were 353 thousand 900 tons in December.

 These figures show that there was a 30.88% decrease in imports and a 15.66% decrease in exports compared to the same months of the previous year.

On an annual basis, Turkey's stainless steel imports decreased to 2,367 million tons in the January-December period. This means a decrease of 30.88% compared to the previous year. In the same period, exports reached 4.58 million tons. This was a decrease of 15.66% compared to the previous year.

These data reveal a complex picture in the stainless steel market, marked by declining import volumes and modestly declining export figures. Stainless steel is an important product used in many sectors

such as automotive, white goods, construction and machinery. This decline in the market may negatively affect the production and supply chains of these sectors.

The main reasons for the decline in stainless steel imports include increasing prices, global economic uncertainties and problems in the supply chain. The reasons for the decline in exports include increasing competition and global economic uncertainties.
