According to official data, China's crude coal production recorded a steady increase in December 2022.
According to the data, the country produced 400 million tons of raw coal in December, up 2.4 percent y-o-y.
The growth rate was 0.7 percentage points lower compared to November, while crude coal production in 2022 was 9 percent higher than the previous year and amounted to 4.5 billion tons, the officials said.
According to the data, China's coal imports amounted to 290 million tons in 2022, down 9.2 percent y-o-y.
