According to data obtained by SteelRadar from the European Commission, China is taking a cautious stance on European Union (EU) quotas for 1.10.2024-31.12.2024.

According to European Commission data, China has been slow on EU quotas. According to the data, the world steel giant only fully utilized 126,629 tons of 4B metallic coated sheets.

In other product groups, the country accounted for 85.8% of the quota of 8,161 tons of other welded pipes, 39.9% of the quota of 38,808 tons of other seamless tubes, 31.4% of the quota of 4,969 tons of stainless hot rolled quarto plates, 16% of the quota of 141,807 tons of merchant bars and light profiles, 15.9% of the quota of 933 tons of seamless stainless pipes, 14.2% of the quota of 1. 522 tons of railway materials quota, 10.1% of 7,075 tons of sheet pile quota, 7.9% of 79,826 tons of non-alloy steel wire quota, 10% of 31,278 tons of 3D wiper sheet quota, 5% of 27,205 tons of cold finished bar quota, and no use of 4,941 tons of stainless wire rod quota.
