China, India and Türkiye have exhausted some of their quotas

In the European Union (EU) quotas, China, India and Türkiye realised full capacity utilisation in one product group each.

China used 126,629 tonnes of 4B metallic coated sheets, India 32,082 tonnes of stainless bars and light profiles and Türkiye 99,461 tonnes of hollow sections.

In the hot rolled flat products (HRC) group, Serbia used 6.4% of its 167,256 tonnes quota, South Korea used 5.3% of its 188,405 tonnes quota, India used 0.04% of its 301,703 tonnes quota and the United Kingdom used 0.7% of its 157,607 tonnes quota.

The United Kingdom hardly utilised any of its existing quotas in some product groups.

The United Kingdom, which did not utilise its quota for stainless hr quarto sheet metallic coated sheets, recorded low utilisation rates of 0.8%, 0.9%, 0.5%, 0.5%, 0.1% and 0.7% for stainless bar and light profile, wire rod, stainless pipe (seamless), cold drawn bar and hot rolled flat products (HRC), respectively.
