China, which ranks first in the world crude steel production ranking, covered 56.65% of the steel produced in the world in 2020, 52.80% in 2021, 54.19% in 2022, and 56.74% in the first 6 months of 2023.

In 2020, China's crude steel production became the leader with 1 billion 65 million tons, accounting for 56.65% of the world's crude steel production.

On the other hand, in 2021, it decreased by 8% compared to 2020, to 1 billion 35 million tons, and in 2022, it decreased by 1.67% compared to the previous year, to 1 billion 18 million tons.

Despite this, the country maintains its leadership, accounting for 52.81% of world crude steel production in 2021, and exceeding the rate in 2020 by creating 54.19% in 2022.

China, the leader in crude steel production, reached 535 million 64 thousand tons in the first half of 2023, with an increase of 5.24% compared to the first half of 2022.

In 2020, China's crude steel production became the leader with 1 billion 65 million tons, accounting for 56.65% of the world's crude steel production.
