CherMK is updating the cleaning equipment of blast furnace No. 5

Severstal has long planned a 3rd category overhaul of its largest blast furnace No. 5 Severyanka. 

While blast furnace No. 5 continues to produce cast iron, it is impossible to replace the dust collector, because it is responsible for the primary purification of exhaust gases. Therefore, its replacement is planned during the shutdown of Severyanka in February for 8 months.
