The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has determined that it is appropriate to maintain the current antidumping measures on box profiles imported from Türkiye and South Korea, citing the possibility that dumping practices may continue or resume if the antidumping duties are removed.
Under the antidumping duties that came into effect in 2013, Canada imposes a tax of 89% on box profiles imported from South Korea, and a tax ranging from 6.9% to 30% on products imported from Türkiye.
The final decision on this matter will be made by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT).
It was previously reported that results related to this decision, taken last September, would be published on February 6, but the new announcement indicates that they will be disclosed no later than July 16, 2025.
