Canada to impose new tariffs on steel products and electric vehicles imported from China

The Canadian government has announced the final list of products that will be subject to the new 25% tariff on steel imports from China, which will take effect on October 22. The list includes more than 160 tariff codes for a variety of steel products, including hot-rolled sheet, cold-rolled sheet, coated products and pipes.

In addition, Canada imposed a 100% tariff on Chinese electric vehicles (EVs) on October 1.
