Canada launches first-ever review on carbon steel welded pipes

Canada is launching its first anti-dumping (AD) expiry review on carbon steel welded pipes from Pakistan, the Philippines, Türkiye, and Vietnam. The investigation aims to determine if the expiry of the AD measure will lead to the continuation or resumption of dumping. The CBSA will make its final determination by May 9, 2024, and issue a Statement of Reasons by May 24, 2024.

Tariff codes for the affected products were revised from January 1, 2022, to 7306.30.00.42, 7306.30.00.43, 7306.30.00.44, 7306.30.00.45, 7306.30.00.46, 7306.30.00.47, 7306.30.00.49, 7306.30.00.52, 7306.30.00.53, 7306.30.00.54, 7306.30.00.55, 7306.30.00.57, 7306.30.00.59, 7306.30.00.62, 7306.30.00.63, 7306.30.00.64, 65, 66, 67, and 7306.30.00.69.
