The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) imposed final anti-dumping measures on wire rod imports from China, Egypt and Vietnam. However, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced that it will issue its decision by October 4, 2024, while the domestic industry continues to pursue its investigation.
China's Jiangsu Shagang International Trade Co., Ltd. has a dumping margin of 34.0%, while Egypt's Suez Steel has a margin of 8.6%. Vietnam's Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC will have a dumping margin of 17.7%, while Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel JSC will have a dumping margin of 13.5%.
