The refinery's annual production reached 59,600 tons in its first year, with total production expected to reach 447,000 tons by 2023.
Brazil's aluminum production is expected to reach 1.4 million tons per year, with Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio and Albras contributing to the total.
China currently leads the global aluminum production market, with 40 million tons in 2022.
