The company's first overseas investment started in 2001 with Borusan Mannesmann Vobarno Tubi S.p.A. with the plant it acquired in Italy. Then, in 2014, Borusan Mannesmann Pipe US Inc. was established to manage the Houston Baytown plant investment in the USA. The company, which achieved success in a short time with its high technology and innovative products, was awarded the "Best Pipe Manufacturer" award in 2016, 2017 and 2020 by American Metal Market, one of the most prestigious publications in the USA. As part of its strategy to become a local player in global markets in 2023, the company acquired Berg Pipe, one of the highest quality and capacity manufacturing companies in the USA.
