According to the report published on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company posted a net profit of 311.8 million TRY (311,873,000 TRY) for the period 01.01.2024 - 30.09.2024. However, this figure represents a 90% decrease compared to the net profit of TRY3 billion (TRY3,093,109,000) in the same period of 2023.
The company posted a net loss of TRY327.9 million (TRY327,902,000) in the third quarter.
According to the financial data, despite a 67% increase in revenue, operating profit declined by 60%. The company's shareholders' equity increased by 5% on a quarterly basis.
Accordingly, it can be said that the rise in operating expenses, despite increasing revenues, has a negative impact on the company's profitability.
While Borusan Boru generated TRY25.7 billion (TRY25,734,048,000) from sales in the first nine months of last year, it generated TRY42.9 billion (TRY42,983,753,000) in the same period this year. In the same period of 2023, the company recorded an operating profit of 4.8 billion TL (4,865,194,000 TL), while this year it reported 1.9 billion TL (1,935,390,000 TL).
EBITDA, which stood at 5.1 billion TRY (5,180,443,000 TRY) in the said period, was 2.3 billion TRY (2,386,199,000 TRY) this year.
