According to Vladimir Chaus, Deputy General Manager for External Economic Relations, Sales and Distribution Network Management, the plant continues to strengthen its market position by providing high quality products and fast delivery to consumers.
Thus, in March, steel production increased by 11,4% to over 220 thousand tonnes. The figure showed that the plant, which specialises in steel production, is fully utilising its capacity, with more than 530,000 tonnes of steel melted in the first three months of this year, and over 42,000 tonnes of hardware metal produced in the same period.
The problems with raw materials that arose at the beginning of the year were successfully resolved by March and the company now has sufficient stocks of scrap metal for production planning.
Vladimir Chaus emphasised the company's success, stressing that high product quality and effective management were the key factors contributing to the steady growth in revenue and profit. ‘At the end of the first quarter, revenue increased by 9,4%. In March, this indicator grew by 14,5 %,’ he said.
