The Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) is accepting online registrations for the 2023 World Recycling Convention scheduled for May 21-24 in Amsterdam.
To celebrate BIR's 75th anniversary, the global federation says it is ready to present "the best networking and business opportunities, the latest market updates on global recycling, and a unique party vibe".
In addition to BIR's 75th Anniversary Welcome Evening on May 22, the event includes three networking lunches and chapter and committee meetings covering the most traded recycled materials.
Goods featured at department or committee meetings include ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel scrap metal, paper, plastic, e-scrap, rubber and textiles, and meetings focused on trade, environmental issues, and metal shredding.
